The following works are available exclusively at the Portage Hill Gallery.
All are printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper with satin finish.

• France Brook Road:  This image is constructed from 3 photographs taken on the same day along France Brook Road in Allegany State Park in western New York State - a landscape, and two close-ups of lichens and rust on a bridge along the road.  I was drawn to the textures on the bridge because they looked like landscapes themselves.  The layered images created an all new landscape that for me captured the essence of the day just perfectly. (one 16X24 matted & extravagantly framed with museum glass; one 8x12 matted & wrapped)
• Oxidation:  When I get lazy and don't use the copper cleaner on my Revere cookware, I am sometimes rewarded with colors and designs that I can't resist photographing.  I screw a 10x diopter onto my 18-55mm lens which allows me to get very close. (one 16X24, foam backed & wrapped; one 8x12 matted & wrapped)
  
• Night Sky with Butterfly:  Mourning Cloak butterflies overwinter as adults.  I photographed this one in April at Allegany State Park and the poor thing had quite a tattered wing.  I practiced my Photoshop skills to repair the damaged wing, then placed it in a night sky made from two layered images, stars and clouds.  The moon-like orb is actually a lens flare - a happy accident.  (one 16x16, foam backed & wrapped; one 8x8 matted & wrapped)
  
• Two Birds:  Four separate images, all taken from the same vantage point on the shore of Chautauqua Lake, were used to create this image - clouds, a striated rock that was under water, and two separate photographs of birds.  (one 16x20, foam backed & wrapped; one 8x10 matted & wrapped)
